These developments position Quas to scale nationally through ambient retail channels while directly addressing the UK's chronic dietary fibre gap, with studies showing around 90% of adults do not meet the recommended intake (BBC Food).
This achievement establishes Quas as a category leader, delivering more fibre per serving than any other fermented beverage in the UK and earning an official 'high-fibre' designation (UK Gov, 2024).

High-Fibre, Reduced-Sugar Formula: The advanced recipe fully replaces the previous recipe for all Quas flavours and delivers 6.7 g of fibre per can (22% of daily recommended intake) while reducing sugar content from 3.8 g to 2.4 g per 100 ml—a 37% reduction. This formula combines prebiotic fibre with the hundreds of postbiotic metabolites naturally produced during fermentation.
Shelf-Stable Retail Format: A new, gently heat-treated non-filtered version offers a minimum six-month ambient shelf life. This innovation preserves the taste, prebiotic fibre and beneficial postbiotics, removing the cold chain barrier that has limited our growth in mainstream retail.
